Description of Service
Wagement provides a platform for processing global payroll and invoicing for contractors. We handle invoicing, payroll calculations, tax compliance, and payments on your behalf. Our service enables you to manage contractors across multiple countries and currencies while we handle the complexity of international payments and regulatory compliance.
Account Terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by bots or automated methods are not permitted.
- You must provide a valid email address to complete the signup process.
- You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about contractors and contracts
- Ensuring you have the right to engage contractors in their jurisdictions
- Making timely payments for our services
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- Ensuring all contractor information you provide is accurate and up-to-date
Compliance
While we handle compliance processing, tax calculations, and regulatory requirements for payroll and invoicing, you remain responsible for ensuring your business operations comply with applicable laws in the jurisdictions where you operate. We process compliance on your behalf, but you must ensure you have the legal right to engage contractors in their respective countries.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit malware or viruses
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems or networks
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Spam or send unsolicited messages
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Payment and Refunds
During our beta period, the Service is provided free of charge. When we introduce paid plans, billing terms will be communicated in advance. You can cancel your account at any time. You are responsible for making timely payments for our services as outlined in your subscription plan.
Cancellation and Termination
- You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account.
- All of your content, contractor data, and invoices may be immediately deleted upon cancellation.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. While we handle compliance processing, we do not guarantee that all compliance requirements will be met in every jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Wagement be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Wagement's liability is limited to the fees paid for our services in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
